Update on Kitty Armstrong & the Band King Tribute Machine
First of all, let's welcome Corrine Graves to our Team! She has agreed to be the Canadian Representative for the Band, and we thank her for taking on the challenge! On the About Us page now you'll see the main players of this Band and of the people who work hard to keep it going! To all of you who work like a demon on this venture I want to extend my thanks!
Kitty and her son arrive in the UK on the 16th of August, at which point they will be going into immediate seclusion. Kitty will then immediately start the process of finishing her album titled, "The King's Court".
The album is dedicated to all Level 42 Band members, both past and present, and also the song The King of Life, is dedicated to Mark King personally. All songs were written by Kitty Armstrong.
1. Mirrors
2. Thats me, a Survivor
3. Come on up
4. check it at the door
5. I don't need it
6. what comes around stops
7. The King of Life - bonus solo too with this one. This song will be released as a single.
On the album as well there will be a special mention to Kitty's sponsor, Mr John Diggins of Jaydee Guitars. He has never failed to help us or assist us and we owe him our gratitude in spades! Thanks man, you're a pal!
Kitty will be attending several Level 42 shows this year and we will have those dates within the next month or so. It was over 28 years ago that Kitty first heard the Band and the musicians that she has devoted her life to since, and it also marks the 22nd year (1986 was the year when she mastered the "slap style" that Mark King is known for) that she has been successful playing Mark King's and Level 42's music, and so it is a truly important milestone in her life and in our's.
There are also plans in the works for a trip to the Netherlands as well. As soon as the date is confirmed, it will be released. A visit to the Band Manager Frits Bosman is planned, as well as visiting and working with Mr Gert Emmens, who is a very talented composer and musician in his own right.
To everyone who has written or called us, we thank you for your support and now we'd like to wish everyone a very good day!

Monday, October 30, 2006:
Kitty has been dealing with some health issues and the events of the past 18 months
have not made things easy, but we are very formally happy to announce that if things keep
progressing, Kitty will be well enough to start performing gigs again,
starting in April 2007.
Kitty has drawn great strength from the unending support
and kindness of Mr. Mark King and Mr. Gary Husband in particular. Mr. Nathan
King, Mr. Mike Lindup and Mr. Sean Freeman are to be thanked for their recent
kindness as well.
To that note, I am happy to announce formally that Mr. Mark King quite
happily signed Kitty's bass from Mr. John Diggins of Jaydee Guitars as
originally planned, even though she could not be present. This bass is the exact duplicate of
the one Mr King used in the beginning, right down to spacing. Jaydee Guitars' Mr. John Diggins
is the official sponsor of Kitty Armstrong!
Our thanks go out to Mr. John Diggins with fantastic appreciation from all of us at King
Tribute Machine. Mr. Diggins deserves the most hearty thanks and gratitude for
working with us to ensure the bass's completion for Mr. King to sign it for
Kitty. John has not failed once to respond to our needs and Kittys, and
Mr. Diggins, we thank you! All of us!
Also our thanks go out to Mrs Trish Bignell and her husband Ray for
doing such an outstanding job, and also to Mr Frits Bosman of the Netherlands
Office. Your hard work, support and affection for Kitty do not go
unnoticed and our thanks are wired at high speed!
Last, but definitely not the least, we do thank Mr. King for signing the
bass for Kitty, even though she couldn't be present. Thanks to you for
all your help, support and kindness Mr. King, and for such a perfect event,
which was made possible by you. Canada and The KING TRIBUTE MACHINE
thank you.
To Mr Gary Husband, we thank you as well for your kindness and support
for Kitty; it has really brought up her spirits and made her much easier to
handle for us! On a serious note, Mr. Husband, thank you from all of us.
To Mr Carl Mueller, we thank you for your support and help during these
difficult times, and your help made these times easier to handle, Mr
Mueller! Thank you!
Kitty has written a song dedicated to Mr King, called "The King of
Life" and final recording of this song (and video of this song as well), will
be done in the UK. Her new bass will be used in both the video and the
song, fittingly enough. It will be released as a single, most likely in June
2007.
At this time, we wish to announce that the KING TRIBUTE MACHINE
headquarters is being moved to England. All relocation will be
completed by June 2007. Final details to be released shortly.
Kitty's photo shoot as well at Jaydee's has simply been postponed, but
will take place there upon Kitty's arrival in the UK.
