Latest News Tuesday, September 29th, 2008: Kitty is finishing her album titled, "The King's Court"! The album is dedicated to all Level 42 Band members, both past and present, and also the song The King of Life, is dedicated to Mark King personally. All songs were written by Kitty Armstrong. The King of Life - bonus solo too with this one. This song will be released as a single. On the album as well there will be a special mention to Kitty's sponsor, Mr John Diggins of Jaydee Guitars. He has never failed to help us or assist us and we owe him our gratitude in spades! Thanks man, you're a pal! Kitty will be attending several Level 42 shows this year and we will have those dates within the next month or so. It was over 28 years ago that Kitty first heard the Band and the musicians that she has devoted her life to since, and it also marks the 22nd year (1986 was the year when she mastered the "slap style" that Mark King is known for) that she has been successful playing Mark King's and Level 42's music, and so it is a truly important milestone in her life and in our's. There are also plans in the works for a trip to the Netherlands as well. As soon as the date is confirmed, it will be released. A visit to the Band Manager Frits Bosman is planned, as well as visiting and working with Mr Gert Emmens, who is a very talented composer and musician in his own right. With over 20 years experience with Mark King's and Level 42's music, she has quietly made herself known in the music industry, due to her consistent playing ability, which is remarkably similar to Mark King's. She will be playing with British based musicians and also a musician from the Netherlands upon her arrival in England in 2008. Her music is taking her to England and the Netherlands, and she will also have new material at that time, with many thanks to Mr Gert Emmens of the Netherlands.
